In the process of training in this specialization, students study the basic technological processes of producing inorganic materials, mineral fertilizers, catalysts, sorbents, acids, ammonia, etc.; they learn the main characteristics of the chemical process, how to choose a rational scheme for manufacturing of products with desired properties, evaluate the technological efficiency of the process, select the type of reactor and determine the parameters for the best organization of the process in a chemical reactor. They learn how to select specific types of instruments for diagnosing a chemical process, study application programs for modeling chemical process, and design the main stages of technological processes.
