In the process of training in this specialization, students get the opportunity to participate in environmental expeditions, conduct scientific research in the field of environmental protection and assess the degree of anthropogenic impact on the environment using advanced information technologies. Also, students master the methods of biological, chemical and geophysical monitoring of environmental components, skills of working with the modern instrumental base of analytical monitoring of the status of atmospheric air, surface and ground waters and soils. They learn how to develop environmental protection measures to ensure the environmental safety of the national economy and other spheres of human activity.
