In the process of training in this speciality, students get acquainted with the basics of onshore oil and gas production, which include: the search and exploration of hydrocarbon deposits, construction equipment, repair, reconstruction and restoration of oil and gas wells; equipment and technologies for oil and gas production, collection and preparation of well products; equipment and technologies for field monitoring and regulation of hydrocarbon recovery; equipment for oil and gas production, collection and preparation of well products; technological processes of oil and gas production; equipment for field monitoring and regulation of hydrocarbon recovery; technical, technological and regulatory documentation

After graduation, they can begin their careers as operators of oil and gas production, operators of routine maintenance and overhaul of wells, process engineers, specialists in oil and gas production at the fields of Rosneft (RN-Yuganskneftegaz, RN-Purneftegaz) and Gazprom. It is also possible to enroll in a Master’s degree program, and then continue studies in graduate school and find your place in the field of education or in research institutes
