Overview
In the process of training in this speciality, students get acquainted with the properties of natural gas and gas equipment; the basics of operating gas equipment and technological nodes of gas distribution and gas consumption networks; with the main and auxiliary processes of natural gas transport in gas distribution and gas consumption networks,; the principles of selecting gas equipment based on calculations; they study measures for the design, construction and repair of gas distribution and gas consumption networks, methods of combating hydrate sampling formation in the gas distribution networks and gas consumption, measures to prevent gas leaks and emergencies

  • Competencies in taking operational decisions in case of detection of malfunctions or failures on gas equipment in the system of gas distribution and gas consumption networks
  • Ability to identify and assess possible risks of an accident and determine the terms of safe operation of the gas equipment of gas distribution networks and gas consumption
