21.04.01 Oil and Gas Engineering (Development)


Overview
In the process of training under this program, graduate students gain knowledge and skills in modeling oil field development processes, oil production intensification, including that from difficult-to-develop reservoirs; make calculations for the feasibility studies of oil field development projects for various geological conditions; improve and develop methods for analyzing information on technological processes and the operation of technical devices in the field of oil and gas production; perform field monitoring and regulation of hydrocarbon extraction on land and at sea; competently select equipment for the operation of wells in order to increase the efficiency of oil field development; use the acquired knowledge on the development of oil fields for the preparation of working projects.
