Students of the specialization “Construction of sub-surface facilities” study a wide range of issues related to the design, construction, geotechnical substantiation and construction of underground structures (transport tunnels, metro facilities, underground storage facilities, underground parking lots, special-purpose underground structures); they consider the feasibility studies of their construction, as well as carry out exploratory and basic scientific research aimed at developing new efficient structures and materials for underground facilities, methods for calculating the structures of underground facilities, methods for evaluating the impact of underground structures on urban development objects.
