Visualization of digital prototypes of mines and mining equipments
The program of the international summer school «Visualization of digital prototypes of mines and mining equipments» is created by the academic staff of the Department of Descriptive Geometry and Graphics.
Participants are offered a course of lectures, practical exercises and master classes on various methods of creating digital prototypes: preparation and creation of digital prototypes; work with applied libraries and applications in the development of digital prototypes; optimization of digital prototyping; creation of assembly models of complex mechanisms and equipments; visualization of models; creation of schemes and instructions for assembling mechanisms.
In the classroom, students will be able to gain knowledge of the interface settings of the main CAD systems; learn to create passports of mine workings based on 3D models; they will study methods of strength analysis, methods for optimizing the geometric shapes and sizes of mining equipment using applied libraries and applications; methods of visualization of digital prototypes, instructions and schemes.
In addition to the curriculum, participants will be able to visit the leading Russian company in the field of creating CAD (KOMPAS 3D) – ASCON, and mining equipment manufacturers.
