Development of mining and technical documentation and digital prototypes
The program of the international summer school «Development of mining and technical documentation and digital prototypes» is created by the academic staff of the Department of Descriptive Geometry and Graphics.
Participants are offered a course of lectures, practical exercises and master classes on various methods of designing and preparing mining documentation using CAD:
creating two-dimensional technological drawings of mining industries and digital prototypes in computer-aided design programs - KOMPAS, AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, etc.;
work with applied libraries and applications for creating digital prototypes; optimization of work when creating digital prototypes;
creation of assembly models of complex mechanisms and equipment and working drawings for them.
In the classroom, students will be able to gain knowledge of the interface settings of the main CAD systems;
learn to create two-dimensional drawings based on 3D models;
they will study the features of creating passports for mining, drilling and blasting, as well as fastening mines using 3D models;
they will study the basic functions of CAD and their working methods, including 3D modeling, strength analysis, ways to optimize the geometric shapes and sizes of equipment, and the principles of operation of applied libraries and applications.
In addition to the curriculum, participants will be able to visit the leading Russian company in the field of creating CAD (KOMPAS 3D) – ASCON, and mining equipment manufacturers.
