Geodetic Engineering: Theory and Practice
The programme of the International Summer School “Geodetic Engineering: Theory and Practice” is created by the academic stuff of the Departments of Geodetic Engineering and Mine Surveying.
Students are offered to visit lectures, workshops and master classes dedicated to such topics as Geodetic Monitoring, Ground Laser Scanning, GNSS Navigation, Topographical Survey, GIS, Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing etc.
During the practice our participants will control the drone by themselves, do laser scanning, make measurements using total stations and work in special industrial software. In addition to the main programme participants will have a chance to visit leading geodetic companies of St. Petersburg and Leningrad Region: “Promgeo” Ltd., “Geopribori” Ltd. etc.
Students, PhD students and young researchers are invite to participate (specialties: Land Surveying, Mine Surveying, Geodesy, Land Management, Geographic Information Systems, Construction etc.).
