The Russian language at the Mining University (for beginners)

The program of the international summer school “Russian language at the Mining University (entry level)” was developed by the teaching staff of the department of the Russian language and literature.

Participants are offered a practical Russian language course on various aspects of speech practice, which include basic speech formulas of communication and etiquette, conversational topics “My Family”, “My hobbies”, “Profession”, etc.

Students will be able to master the skills and abilities to correctly make the most frequent texts of oral and written speech.

In addition to practical classes, participants will have excursions to the most interesting places in the city. They will be able to see the sights of the northern capital, visit world-famous museums (the Hermitage, the Russian Museum, etc.), take part in excursions along the rivers and canals of St. Petersburg, Vasilyevsky Island, Nevsky Prospekt, the Summer Garden and the Field of Mars, the Peter and Paul Fortress, visit theaters and various museums of the city, which will enhance their communication skills, as well as creating a positive image of St. Petersburg and Russia as a whole.

Students, graduate students and young scientists in various specialties and all interested in Russian culture, wishing to learn to communicate in Russian are invited to participate.
