Occupational and Industrial Safety in the Mining Industry
The International summer school programme "Occupational and Industrial Safety in the Mining Industry" has been developed by the experts of the Industrial Safety Department.
Within a course of lectures and workshops the participants of the summer school programme will be able to analyze systematically the fundamental and applied problems of ensuring occupational and industrial safety of mining facilities; to choose a system for protecting the worker from hazardous and harmful factors in the industrial environment of mining enterprises on the basis of scientific methods and legal acts; to develop recommendations and advice to improve safety at the mining facilities; to organize work to analyze the state of working conditions, to improve and modernize systems, tools and technologies for ensuring safety in mining; to assess the priority of implementing activities to be taken to improve working conditions and occupational safety in terms of their effectiveness.
