Fundamentals of augmented reality technology application development
The International special short-term programme under the auspices of UNESCO " Fundamentals of augmented reality technology application development" is created by the stuff of the Department of Automation of technological processes and production.
The participants are offered a course of lectures and master classes on technology of augmented reality (AR), basics of the fourth industrial revolution, trends in the development and use of modern AR technologies in industry and education; basic tools for creating AR applications; a review of wearable devices to demonstrate and apply AR technology. The participants will gain additional knowledge in the field of 3D modeling, programming basics, computer vision, and the principles of developing and creating their own computer applications using augmented reality technology.
During practical classes, participants will be able to independently design an application for the Android operating system; use the Vuforia platform to configure the project, the database, and select markers for linking virtual objects; create the program interface, place scene elements in the Unity environment, and add audio and video information to the project.
The school will provide a good opportunity to establish contacts that may lead to research collaborations in the future. Students, graduate students and young scientists are invited to participate in the specialties "Automation of technological processes and production", "Information systems and technologies", "Automation and control", "Technological machines and equipment", etc.
