The program of the international summer school was developed by the academic staff of the department of mineral processing.

The summer school program includes various workshops and practical classes in the laboratories of the mineral processing department. The laboratories are equipped with unique modern equipment for complex processing. Main objectives of the program are acquisition of additional knowledge in the field of management of different types of solid wastes (SW), in particular their recycling and obtaining additional knowledge in the field of complex waste processing with the use of modern structures and devices for obtaining additional marketable products.

In the process of training in the summer school students will have the opportunity to improve theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the field of handling various types of solid wastes, in particular, man-made deposits, which is especially relevant in the current technical and economic conditions.

In addition to the main program participants will go on industrial tours to the leading companies based in St. Petersburg.
