The program of the international summer school "Underground coal mining" is developed by the Mining Faculty members of department of mining engineering.

The course of lectures and the master classes devoted to various aspects of underground coal mining is offered to participants: modern underground coal mining technology, solutions for opening and development of mine fields, ground control, methane emission control, modern mining equipment, OSH system, etc.

On a practical training participants will be able independently to carry out the choice and justification of rational technologies of underground coal mining and also to master the specialized software.

In addition to the main program participants will be able to visit the leading engineering company of St. Petersburg: SPb-Giproshakht, Tekhekspert, etc.

The students, Ph.D. students and young researchers developing "Mining Engineering" program are invited to participate.
