The Solnechnoye training facility is intended for research work of students, postgraduates, and employees of the University in the field of geoecology, as well as for educational practical training for students in the area of “Environment and nature management,” speciality “Engineering environmental protection.”

On the territory of the training facility, there is a geo-ecological training ground designed for practical exercises aimed at mastering the main thematic aspects of geoecology, such as the disposal of industrial waste containing heavy and non-ferrous metals, rational methods of disposal of liquid and toxic waste, disposal of waste from the coal and forestry industries, assessment the impact of enterprises on ecosystems, forecasting water quality in the area of industrial enterprises, development of measures to reduce man-made load based on the analysis and management of environmental risks. The landfill is equipped with a set of equipment that allows to most effectively carry out the tasks of scientific research and educational and familiarization practical training.
