Dormitory №1

The dormitory has six floors with corridor-type floors and floors with apartment-type units. Sections for male and female residents are separated. The corridor-type floors have several shared bathrooms on each floor.

The apartment-type section offers accommodation for 1 to 3 people per room with private bathrooms in a unit of 2 to 9 rooms. The apartment-type units have private bathrooms for each unit. Units with more than three rooms have two bathrooms.

Depending on availability and students’ preferences, there are options of rooms for 1, 2, 3, or 4 people. The rooms have beds and bedside cabinets for each resident, a seating area and work desks, and a shared wardrobe.

Shared kitchens equipped with necessary utensils are located on each floor. A self-service laundry is available.

The dormitory has a café with 44 seats open 9 am – 11 pm, seven days a week.

A sports and recreational complex with sports gear and a gym, billiard room, ping pong room, etc. is available.

The dormitory has Wi-Fi and a computer room with 11 work stations and Internet access.

Video surveillance system and a fire alarm system are installed to ensure safety of the residents. Access to the residence hall is by student badges with special chips.

How to get to the dormitory
  • Directions from the main university building:
    Walk along the 22nd Line to Sredny Ave.; without crossing the avenue, take tram No 6, get off in two stops at 13th Line and then walk to 38-40 Malyi Ave
  • By public transport:
    Metro station Vasileostrovskaya Take tram No. 6 to the 13th Line stop and then walk.
