The Multifunctional Complex «Gornyi» opened in early 2016 in one of the historical districts of St. Petersburg - in the heart of Vasilyevsky Island. It includes facilities for international scientific and educational conferences and seminars, rooms for guests of Mining University, post-graduate students, scientists, participants of events and just tourists.
EDUCATIONAL AND EXHIBITION FUND
The training area consists of 13 auditoriums with a capacity of up to 80 people located on the 2nd floor of the building. Auditoriums are designed for meetings, training undergraduate and graduate students, and for professional development training of the continuing education programs. The Linguistic Center for teaching Russian to foreign students and foreign languages to university students is also located here.
The Complex has a Congress Hall with a capacity of up to 1 500 participants and 2 meeting rooms for up to 100 participants. It is used for holding scientific and methodological conferences, all-Russian and international scientific congresses, conferences, symposia, briefings.
RESIDENTIAL FUND
The Complex is located on 13 floors and includes 212 rooms of various categories for guests of Mining University, post-graduate students, scientists, participants of events and just tourists. The complex can accommodate guests with disabilities. For their convenience, the entrance is equipped with an electric lifting platform and the rooms meet all standards.
The Complex has a restaurant with a capacity of up to 380 seats, a cozy cafe with a capacity of up to 100 people and a 2-floor fitness center.

Take metro to Primorskaya station. Then there are two options. You can cross Nalichnaya Street and take any of the minibuses, buses and trolleybuses going to the intersection of Nalichnaya and Nakhimova streets, where MFC Gorny is located. Or you can walk from the metro station to MFC on foot: it takes about 10-15 minutes. To walk, turn left from the metro, towards the Smolenka River and then walk along Nalichnaya Street towards the intersection with Nakhimova Street. - By car:
