Overview

In the process of training, students profoundly study the main types and designs of devices used in technological processes of oil and gas processing, make calculations and selection of the main processing equipment with the account of the required performance, material properties and operating conditions. Students master the skills in analytical and numerical methods of mathematical modeling; develop mathematical models of machinery, equipment, systems, and technology of oil and gas processing; study the methodology of modernization and technical re-equipment of distillation systems of oil refineries and petrochemical enterprises, characteristic mathematical models and algorithms used to describe processes and objects related to their professional sphere. An integral part of the training is the development of original methods and the organization of in-situ and numerical testing on the instrumental and industrial optimization of oil and gas processing and petrochemical processes with the analysis of their outcomes.
