In the process of training in this specialization, students become familiar with the methods of safe, environmentally friendly, resource-saving and cost-effective technologies of the open method of developing solid mineral deposits; master the methods of design, construction, operation, reconstruction and re-equipment of mining enterprises, including those using information technologies; master the methods of geological and industrial assessment of mineral deposits and the legislative foundations of subsoil use; and study the processes and mechanization of open-cast mining of solid mineral deposits.
