In the process of training under this program, graduate students gain knowledge and skills in modeling oil field development processes, oil production intensification, including that from difficult-to-develop reservoirs; make calculations for the feasibility studies of oil field development projects for various geological conditions; improve and develop methods for analyzing information on technological processes and the operation of technical devices in the field of oil and gas production; perform field monitoring and regulation of hydrocarbon extraction on land and at sea; competently select equipment for the operation of wells in order to increase the efficiency of oil field development; and use the acquired knowledge on the development of oil fields for the preparation of working projects.
